About the Role

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest from within the organisation for a Practice Manager to provide direct line management, professional practice supervision and expert knowledge of best practice within our School Counselling program.

Working closely with a team of School Counsellors, you will provide individual and group supervision; contribute to program goals; assist in the development and enhancement of case management and risk assessment skills; provide guidance and support for crisis response/critical incidents, whilst promoting and contributing to a culturally sensitive, child and family centred safe practice framework.

About You

To be a successful applicant you will have:

  • Relevant program specific qualifications, expertise and required professional membership: AHPRA, AASW or PACFA
  •  Industry relevant experience coordinating and implementing services while supporting a team of counsellors to deliver client outcomes
  • Skilled in managing and providing supervision to a team of counsellors
  • Demonstrated understanding of child protection, domestic/family violence and other relevant legislation
  • High level communication, consultation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated capacity to implement a person-centred approach to service delivery
  • Ability to travel between schools within your designated Sydney region – valid NSW Driver Licence and access to a registered vehicle is required for this role.
