About the Role

 Working as part of our NDIS and Aged Care teams, the Occupational Therapist will be responsible for collaborative client centred goal setting, conducting assessment to inform intervention and measure outcomes, and deliver intervention to enable participation and promote wellbeing for Catholic Care clients.

There are two full time opportunities currently available. This role will be based at our Liverpool site. This position is suitable for new graduates.

About You

To be a suitable candidate for this role, you will require:

  • The ability to undertake the duties of the role in accordance with CatholicCare’s Mission, Vision and Values
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, and registration with AHPRA
  • Provider number with Medicare and registration with the private health insurance funds (support available to organise this)
  • A demonstrated understanding of current Child Protection Legislation
  • A clear understanding of NDIS and/or Aged Care funding models

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Experience in working with children, adults and aged care clients
  • The ability to plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based therapy programs
  • Experience in equipment prescription and Home Modifications
  • Practice with supervision of staff and students

To be applicable for this role, you will also require a current NSW Driver’s License, access to a motor vehicle (allowance provided) and a WWCC verification
